25 year old Old Trafford bit-part player Anderson has been linked with a Man United exit for some time and it’s not surprising that boss David Moyes would be keen to finally offload the former FC Porto man after a succession of unconvincing displays this season.

Anderson is into his seventh season at Man United following his massive £20m move to the Premier League side back in July 2007 and over the course of the past six and a half years the midfielder has battled with form and fitness and has struggled with his weight and bar his opening season at the club, during which he helped Sir Alex Ferguson’s men to Premier League and Champions League triumphs, he has failed to come close to justifying his price-tag.

A move to Fiorentina may well assist in his push to re-ignite his career and reclaim his place in the Brazilian national team set-up.
