Red Bull Salzburg starlet Kevin Kampl has admitted that he dreams of one day playing his football in the Barclays Premier League with table toppers Arsenal, according to Sky Sports.

The 23-year-old Slovenian international, who was originally born in Germany, began his career with Bayer Leverkusen before joining the Austrian club is widely considered as one of Europe’s hottest prospects at the moment.

Kampl has impressed whilst with the Red Bull club this season, notching up an impressive 10 goals in 27 games from the middle of the park.

And he has admitted that though he wants to ply his trade in the Bundesliga again one day, he has insisted that he wants to play under Arsene Wenger at the Emirates Stadium before he returns to Germany.

“England has its own charm and London is a unique place,” Kampl told Slovenian daily sports newspaper Ekipa.

“There’s also Arsenal, the club that I like very much because of their style of football.

“Sometimes when I watch their games, I close my eyes and dream of how it would be if I was there playing for them.

“This certainly is a dream and I hope that one day it will come true for me which is why I’m always giving my all during training sessions.”
