The exciting Dutch winger has been catching the eye in the Netherlands of late, so much so that  Kishna has even been dubbed the “Dutch Di Maria” back in his homeland owing to his similarities to the Real Madrid wide man in terms of his outstanding dribbling skills and excellent close control.

And with the 19-year-old currently in the middle of a contract dispute with the Eredivisie champions about extending his stay at the Amsterdam ArenA beyond the end of his current deal which now only runs until June 30 2014, the Merseyside giants are believed to have been offered the chance to sign Kishna for a cut-price fee this month.

The player and his agent are of course allowed to start negotiating with interested clubs from overseas in January now that Kishna’s deal with the Dutch giants has less than six months left to run on it.

Equally, though, the Reds could even wait until the end of this season before landing the Dutch starlet on a Bosman free transfer.
