La Liga giants Real Madrid are set to go up against Manchester United in the race for highly rated Sevilla defender Alberto Moreno, according to reports in Inside Futbol.

The young left-back has been on the radar of several clubs both at home and further afield after being a key member of Spain’s under-21 that won the European Championship over the summer.
Napoli and Juventus have been said to be interested, with the former tipped to make their move for him after coach Rafa Benitez promised his club’s fans two new signings this week.
Sevilla sporting director Monchi had yesterday revealed Napoli’s interest was in the air, telling his club website:”Napoli, I’ve heard about, but there is no deal and we have to be quiet.
“As of today, there have been no concrete approaches for Alberto.”
He has also been a target for United, but it is Madrid who are believed to be favourite to land his signature as they want him as a replacement for Fabio Coentrao – himself a target for Manchester United.
Madrid have made Sevilla aware that they would be willing to match the €30m release clause slapped on the 21-year-old should Coentrao make his exit this month.
