In a video captured by ITV journalist Rags Martel the Chelsea boss got up to personally greet the journalist returning to work for the first time since overcoming cancer before going on to give his thoughts on his side’s chances against Manchester United this weekend.
Martel wrote: “Jose spots me, gets up and shakes my hand: “Welcome back”. Special.”
Mourinho can be spiky and confrontational at times, but can also display an abundance of charisma and warmth, frequently proving that his relationship with the press isn’t all bad.
