Pep Guardiola is apparently keen on landing the Czech Republic international in the summer when he would be available on a free transfer, a move the 33 year old would surely be tempted by.
Rosicky is very much a fan favourite at the Emirates Stadium but is very much a utility player who is by no means a regular in Arsene Wenger’s starting eleven and if a new contract is not forthcoming then a return to the Bundesliga could be an avenue the cultured midfielder considers.
Wenger has handed Rosicky just seven Premier League starts this term but when used the veteran performer has looked sprightly and effective and Guardiola may feel the former Borussia Dortmund man has a season or two left in the tank.
Clearly a move to Bayern Munich would see Rosicky have to challenge a number of star performers but the Gunners man may feel he has what it takes to force his way into Guardiola’s reckoning.
Rosicky moved to Arsenal back in May 2006 and has made a total of 203 appearances for the club, scoring 23 goals in the process.
