Red Devils will face competition from Real Madrid though for the 21-year-old’s signature.
Premier League champions Manchester United have been forced to switch their focus towards in-demand Sevilla left-back Alberto Moreno after it emerged that the club’s first-choice target, Everton Leighton Baines, was set to sign a new deal with the Toffees later this week, according to reports in the Sunday Mirror.

The Red Devils head coach David Moyes has made the addition of a new left back his number one priority of the January transfer window as doubts continue to grow over the long-term future of current first-choice Patrice Evra.
The veteran France international’s current deal at Old Trafford expires at the end of the campaign, and with the player having previously indicated that he would like to return home next summer for unspecified personal reasons, Moyes has been on the lookout of late for a replacement for the defender.
However, the Scot’s preferred choice has always be to return to his former club Everton to sign England international Baines, but with the full back now set to put pen to paper on a new long-term deal at Goodison Park, those hopes now appear to be over.
And instead Moyes will move for Sevilla’s newly capped Spain international instead.
