10. Joleon Lescott: Man City to West Ham
West Ham were reported to have agreed a deal to sign Man City defender Joleon Lescott according to the Sunday Telegraph but as yet the deal is still to be sealed.
Sam Allardyce is looking to strengthen his defence and the Hammers have seemingly agreed to deal to bring in England international Lescott ahead of his contract at the Etihad Stadium side coming to an end in the summer, with the East London side willing to foot the centre-back’s £90k a week wages.
Lescott was apparently ready to pen a three and a half year deal with West Ham and Allardyce will hope the presence of the hugely experienced defender will resolve his side’s penchant for conceding goals at an alarming rate and it’s a deal we can certainly see happen this month.
