Old Trafford winger wants out.
Man United winger Wilfried Zaha is set to hand in a transfer request according to the Daily Mail.
The 21 year old England international is said to have been angered by his side’s decision to block his loan move to Cardiff City this month and is ready to quit the club.
Zaha joined Man United in a £15m deal last January but finished last term at Crystal Palace, helping the South London side gain promotion to the top flight. Bizarrely however David Moyes has not deemed the youngster worthy of first team playing time, placing him behind Adnan Januzaj, Antonio Valencia, Nani and Ashley Young in the club’s pecking order.
Moyes hasn’t handed Zaha a single Premier League start and has managed just 30 minutes of action in the course of two sub appearances in the English top tier and is understandably concerned about his future at the Old Trafford club.
A move join the Bluebirds on a temporary basis had appeared likely but was then called off due to concerns about the fitness of Nani and Ashley Young.
One would imagine that Moyes doesn’t rate Zaha and perhaps could consider a summer sale of the exciting winger.
Prior to his move to Man United Zaha racked up 143 appearances for Crystal Palace.
