The in-demand France Under-21 international has been attracting the attentions of a number of clubs both in the Premier League and across the Continent too after shining up front for the Ligue 2 outfit for the past four years now.

And as well as the north London club, the likes of Hull City, Tottenham Hotspur, Aston Villa and Serie A giants AS Roma are all understood to be interested in signing Ntep in this month’s winter transfer window.

However, the 21-year-old’s agent, Mario Knez, says that recent rumours suggesting that the Gunners had already agreed a deal with Auxerre for the striker were too hasty.

“An agreement with Arsenal? There’s no truth in that,” Knez told TMW.

But the representative did go on to state that his client’s employers were keen to open discussions for their star man with any interested suitors before the transfer window closes at the end of the month.

“Is he leaving in January? It’s certainly an option, he is having a great season and Auxerre are ready to start a negotiation,” Knez added.
