The Polish international suffered the crippling injury during his side’s 2-2 draw with Augsburg at the weekend and is now set to miss the rest of the season as he recovers.
And now Dortmund managing director Hans-Joachim Watzke has admitted that the side will dip into the transfer market this week in order to bring in a player to cover their club captain until he’s back on his feet.
According to source in Germany, Dortmund coach Jurgen Klopp will now look to step up his interest in Gnabry by putting together a lucrative deal to bring the winger back home.
