Unsettled Chelsea left-back Ashley Cole has revealed just how unhappy he is at his current situation at Stamford Bridge in a revealing exchange of words on Twitter with a fan of the west London club, according to reports in the Daily Mirror.

Amid renewed and feverish speculation that the Blues are set to lodge a £20m bid with Southampton for their in-demand England Under-21 international Luke Shaw before the January transfer window finally slams shut once again for business for the season, Cole has also now expressed doubts about his own future in the capital.

The England international, who was recalled to the Chelsea starting lineup for a rare outing against Stoke City in the FA Cup fourth round at the Bridge on Sunday afternoon, then took to social networking site Twitter post match to discuss the tie with Blues supporters.

However, in response to one fan congratulating the defender on his long-awaited recall to the first team, Cole intriguing replied: “Cheers, mate. Just don’t get used to it,” and so fueling further speculation about his future at the club.

The 33-year-old is currently on a one-year rolling deal that comes to an end on June 30 2104.
