The prolific Mexico international has been the subject of much interest in his services in recent weeks after once again spending large portions of this campaign warming the substitutes’ bench at Old Trafford under new Red Devils head coach David Moyes.

In total so far this season, Hernandez has managed to register seven strikes and three assists in total his 23 matches in all competitions for United, including two strikes and two assists in his 14 Premier League outings to date.

However, with the Scot still preferring to go with Netherlands international Robin van Persie and England international Wayne Rooney as his preferred choice of attackers up front at the Theatre of Dreams, the Mexican is understood to have now finally lost patience with his employers.

And with this campaign ending as it does with the Fifa World Cup finals in Brazil this summer, the 25-year-old has asked his agent to find him a new club before the winter window finally slams shut for business for the season again at the end of the month, with the South of France now being muted as his next possible destination.
