The actor is already well regarded as one of the industry’s good guys and has once again taken a giant leap towards reaffirming that attitude this weekend.
Snapped by Liverpool supporting boxer Paul Smith, who is the current British Super Middleweight champion, Gooding Jr. posed for the photo whilst holding the shirt and smiling broadly. The picture was then uploaded to Twitter where it went viral.
Smith wrote “Justice For The 96. Cuba Gooding Jr. #Wildcard next to the pic of the beaming actor.
Whether he knows the ins and outs of the campaign remains to be seen, but his support of the cause will go down well with Reds fans nonetheless.
