The big-money Italy international was recently involved in an alleged training-round bustup with Saints team-mate Jose Fonte, with the striker having since been suspended indefinitely by the south coast club.

As a result, the Old Lady of Italian Football now hope to be able to take advantage of the situation by luring Osvaldo to Turin, initially on a short-term deal until the end of the season, and then on a permanent contract come the summer.
