David Moyes doesn’t appear to rate Nani all that highly and the Portuguese international’s career is in danger of stagnating at Man United and as such a move to join Serie A giants Juventus would probably appeal to the 27 year old, however the Premier League title holders are probably not in great need of another striking option unless they have plans on trimming away any of their current marksman.
There is however no denying the potential Berardi possesses so perhaps Moyes would see the 19 year old as a long term successor to Robin Van Persie, the teenager has spent this season on loan at minnows Sassuolo and has proven a massive success.
Berardi’s crowning glory this term came in the form of a four goal haul against AC Milan, which resulted in the sacking of boss Massimiliano Allegri, and his overall record of 12 goals in 16 appearances has led to talk of a call-up to the senior Italian national team set-up, perhaps even with an outside chance of making it into Cesare Prandelli’s 2014 World Cup finals squad.
However his chances at Juventus have been limited by the arrival last summer of Fernando Llorente and Carlos Tevez, hence his temporary switch to Sassuolo.
