The highly rated England Under-21 international has already been given permission by the Championship outfit to speak to any interested Premier League suitors regarding a possible loan switch to the top flight before the January transfer window closes again for business on Friday.

And it is understood that Ince has already held face-to-face talks with the likes of Cardiff City, Swansea City and Crystal Palace regarding a possible short-term loan switch this month.

However, now the player’s former club have also entered the running to sign the Englishman after the Reds missed out on landing their first-choice transfer target of the winter window, FC Basel winger Mohamed Salah, with the Egypt international opting to join Chelsea instead.

As a result, Liverpool head coach Brendan Rodgers is now expected to sit down with the 21-year-old to discuss the idea of re-joining the Merseysiders three years after the club allowed him to move to the seasiders in the first place.

Ince has since managed to score 33 goals for Blackpool in just 113 matches.
