Spurs boss Tim Sherwood is desperate to add to his midfield and forward options ahead of Friday’s transfer deadline and has reportedly targeted a loan deal for the Portuguese international.
United are said to be willing to allow the 27-year-old out of the club on a short term deal, though Spurs will have to compete with the Italian giants in order to land his signature.
Inter have apparently offered to cover 100% of his wages during his stay on the continent, though Spurs are said to have offered United a loan fee, which may just sway the deal in their favour.
Spurs have space for the out of favour star by allowing Lewis Hotlby to join Fulham on loan for the rest of the campaign, whilst Belgian international Nacer Chadli could also leave.
Should Nani accept the move to North London there is a good chance that he would link up with former Spurs striker Dimitar Berbatov, who could also leave Craven Cottage to rejoin the club.
