Current Parc des Princes custodian Salvatore Sirigu has done a fine job between the sticks over the past two and a half seasons but apparently boss Laurent Blanc is keen to bring in a big name and has earmarked a move for French national team captain Lloris.

The former Lyon man could be tempted by a move back to his native France and has hinted that should his White Hart Lane side fail to secure a top four finish then he may reassess his options, stating;

“The objective is to reach the Champions League. After that, it’s to close the gap on the biggest teams in the league.

“Without Champions League football? I’ve not thought about it. I must weigh things up at the end of the season.”

Blanc knows Lloris well from his time in charge of the national team and an offer of the magnitude stated by this source could well be considered by the North London club.

PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi has talked up the importance of signing more French players following the addition of Newcastle United’s Yohan Cabaye, commenting;

“Cabaye is French and he is important for us to recruit French players at PSG to win the French championship again.”

Lloris is considered one of the most consistent goalkeepers in the Premier League and if Tim Sherwood fails to book a spot in the Champions League next season then there is perhaps every chance of a move to the French capital.
