Tottenham star Paulinho is apparently flattered by interest in him coming from Spanish giants Real Madrid according to the Metro.

The Brazilian midfielder responded to interest from the Bernabeu by stating;
‘I leave these matters with my manager, but without doubt it is good recognition for any player to be coveted by a club with the history of Real Madrid,’
The 25 year old has however moved to quash talk by stating his happiness with life at White Hart Lane, commenting;
‘My head, however, is completely focused on returning to play and win at Tottenham.’
The £17m signing has impressed for much of his first season in the English top tier and it’s perhaps no surprise that Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti should take notice of the former Corinthians man.
The box to box performer has started 18 of Tottenham’s 24 Premier League fixtures and is a player Tim Sherwood won’t want to lose in the summer.
Indeed Paulinho and Vlad Chiriches are perhaps the two big success stories in relation to the massive influx of player Andre Villas-Boas presided over last summer.
