The 27-year-old is now a free agent after being released by Turkish side Elaz??spor, where he failed to find the back of the net in 13 appearances, though he had apparently done enough to warrant interest from a number of Premier League and Championship clubs.

However, he may snub that interest in favour of a move Stateside as MLS side Chivas USA look set to hand him an offer to link up with them for the upcoming season.

Moore is due to fly out to Los Angeles later this week to hold talks and undergo a medical ahead of the season kick off next month.

His agent Peter Morrison of James Grant Group, confirmed to Sky Sports a deal was in place: “Luke has never hidden his desire to play abroad, which was the main reason behind his move to Turkey.

“It has seemed he would be playing back in the UK again, and a number of clubs were keen – but then this chance came in for him to move to America and was just too good for him to turn down.”
