The agent of striker Luciano Vietto has claimed that Liverpool and Real Madrid are set to go to war with each other in a bid to land the player’s signature, according to the Metro.

The Reds, who are said to be on the lookout for fresh new talent to bring to the club this summer, are believed to have been keeping an eye of the Argentine youngster ever since he came through the ranks of Racing Club in his homeland, breaking into the first team in 2011.
Speculation in South America suggests that the Anfield outfit want to bring him to the club at the end of the season, and his agent has claimed that both Liverpool and Real Madrid will be battling it out for his signature.
“We know that many top clubs are following Vietto,” said agent Jorge Cysterpiller.
“There is a lot of competition to sign him. Liverpool we know like him and so do Real Madrid – I think also two German teams.
“I think he could move at the end of the European season.”
Vietto has been billed as a quick and intelligent striker with a strong eye for goal and has been widely compared to Sergio Aguero back in his homeland.
