Superstar winger Gareth Bale scored for Real Madrid last night, as Carlo Ancelotti’s side beat Villarreal to go top of La Liga.
The Welshman’s effort was the first of the game, and set the tone for a comfortable Real victory. Recently crowned Ballon D’or winner Cristiano Ronaldo was suspended, so the Madrid faithful were keen for their £85m summer signing to start finding the back of the net more regularly.
