Arsenal right-back Bacary Sagna has decided to quit the north London club at the end of this season, according to exclusive reports in the Daily Star.

The highly rated France international’s current deal with the Gunners only runs until June 30 2014, and so the player will now be available to pick up on a lucrative Bosman free transfer this summer.
And despite Arsenal head coach Arsene Wenger having offered Sagna a two-year extension on his present deal, the 30-year-old has decided to rejected that new contract and leave the club.
Sagna already has a number of other more enticing options on the table from a whole host of clubs throughout the Continent, including the likes of Real Madrid, Paris Saint-Germain, Bayern Munich and Galatasaray.
However, it is understood that mega-rich Ligue 1 outfit AS Monaco are currently leading the chase for Sagna’s signature after offering the attacking full back a £120,000-per-week three-year deal AFTER tax, which equates to a whopping £10m over the course of that period.
And with Arsenal only offering the Frenchman a two-year contract on his same £60,000-per-week wage that he is earning now at the Emirates, the defender has made up his made to quit the club this summer.
