The Belgium international, who is the younger brother of the west London club’s star playmaker Eden, moved to Stamford Bridge from Ligue 1 outfit Lens in July 2012, shortly after Edn had also moved to the Blues.

However, unlike his elder sibling, Thorgan was immediately shipped out on a season-long loan spell to Belgium Premier League side Zulte Waregem, where the attacking midfielder excelled so much that the player also remained on loan with the club for this campaign too.

In fact, Hazard was such a success with Zulte Waregem that he was even voted the best player in the Belgium top flight in 2013 after finding the back of the net on four occasions in his 34 league outings.

But now Chelsea head coach Jose Mourinho is said to have been so impressed with the 20-year-old’s displays of late – the Belgium has netted nine times already this season in 23 league matches – that he wants him back at the Bridge next season, when he will be loaned out to a Premier League team.
