The 27 year old Uruguayan has only recently signed a new long term deal but it’s expected that he could still leave Anfield if Liverpool fail to secure a top four finish and if that proves the case then there will be no shortage of interest in the Premier League hit-man.
Man City boss Manuel Pellegrini fears losing top scorer Sergio Aguero to Real Madrid and there are doubts over the futures of Edin Dzeko and Stevan Jovetic though one wonders if Suarez would ever consider leaving Liverpool for a Premier League rival.
The Etihad Stadium side have the funds to make a massive offer for Suarez, who has netted 23 goals in 20 Premier League appearances this season, and the former Ajax man is unlikely to be happy to remain at Liverpool for another campaign if Champions League football is not secured.
Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers has seen Suarez and England man Daniel Sturridge form a potent strike-pairing and will hope to keep the duo leading his attack for as long as possible.
Rodgers has seen his side perform wonderfully well this term, with Liverpool currently sitting in fourth spot, three points clear of Tottenham.
