German giants Borussia Dortmund and Bayern Munich are set to go up against Premier League side Chelsea for the signature of Wolfsburg full-back Ricardo Rodriguez, according to Football Direct News.

The 21-year-old has been in phenomenal form this season and has subsequently attracted interest from several top clubs from across Europe.
Chelsea had been rumoured to be interested in landing his services, and Premier League rivals Manchester United had also been said to be keeping an eye on his situation, but reports now suggest that both Bayern and Borussia are taking a great interest and will rival the English sides to try and keep him in Germany.
As one of the Bundesliga’s top performers this term it is only natural that the country’s two best teams took an interest and Dortmund are said to be leading the charge as they look to make some drastic improvements to their squad following a disappointing campaign.
Bayern have been credited with an interest, but they already have Austrian international David Alaba as their first choice left-back, though he can play further forward in midfield too.
