The defensive duo are both out of contract this summer and could be tempted by a move to join a Nerazzurri side under the new management of Indonesian president Erick Thohir.
32 year old Serbian centre-back Vidic has confirmed in recent weeks that he will leave Old Trafford in the summer and there is a fairly good chance that 33 year old left-back Evra will also seek a new challenge, with no new contract on the table for the French international.
Vidic and Evra have been mainstays of the Man United defence for some years and have racked up over 600 appearances for the club and are still first team regulars and certainly able to make an impact in Serie A.
Inter Milan’s hopes of landing the two players could be dealt a blow if Walter Mazzarri’s side are unable to secure a Champions League berth for next term.
Inter Milan currently sit in fifth place in the table, some 11 points off a top three finish needed to book a spot in Europe’s premier club competition.
