City and Atleti are also keen on the full back.

Some of the Continent’s biggest clubs are interested in signing Swansea City left-back Ben Davies at the end of the season, including the likes of Premier League giants Manchester City, Liverpool, Arsenal as well as La Liga high-flyers Atletico Madrid, according to reports in the Daily Mail.

The highly rated young Wales international is currently enjoying a fine campaign at the back on the left-hand side of the struggling Swans back four, with Davies having so far appeared in a total of 28 matches in all competitions for the south Wales outfit, 23 of which have come in the Premier League, during which time the full back has managed to hit the back of the net on two occasions.

And despite the 20-year-old having only recently put pen to paper on a new deal at the Liberty stadium that keeps the defender in the Principality until 2017, all four suitors are still expected to follow up their interest in the player this summer.

“It wasn’t a difficult decision and it’s always great to sign a new deal and commit my future to the club. This is a great place to learn and improve and it’s nice to be rewarded for all the effort I’ve put in,” said Davies after agreeing his new deal.

“I think it’s the right place to be at in terms of my career, and if I’m playing regularly and I’m happy then that’s the main thing and all I can ask for.”
