Man City are to make a fresh move for Real Madrid youngster Isco according to the Daily Star.

The 21 year old Spanish international had been close to joining the Etihad Stadium side last summer but eventually was lured to the Bernabeu but Man City are ready to make a £30m bid for the attacking midfielder.

Manuel Pellegrini is keen to reunite with his former Malaga charge and the fact that Isco has made just one La Liga start in 2014 may well help Man City’s cause.

Isco had started the season brightly, netting five goals in his opening six matches, but has been left on the bench a fair bit of late and could be a player Carlo Ancelotti is ready to sell.

The emergence of Jese Rodriguez and Gareth Bale’s continued success has left the Italian manager having to offer Isco a limited role in his first team set-up.

Isco could well be keen on moving to Man City though one wonders if there would be space in Pellegrini’s first team set-up.
