La Liga side Valencia are ready to mount a £15m bid for Man United striker Javier Hernandez according to Sports Direct News.

The 25 year old Mexican international had played a supporting role under Sir Alex Ferguson but has seen his chances even more limited since David Moyes took over at Old Trafford and a move to the Mestalla may just tempt the forward.

Hernandez is currently fourth in the striking pecking order at United, behind Wayne Rooney, Robin Van Persie and Danny Welbeck, this despite the fact that when called upon Chicharito rarely fails to impress.

Since moving to Man United back in July 2010 Hernandez has scored 57 goals in 142 appearances, with 61 of those coming from the bench, a very capable strike-rate.

Valencia are unlikely to secure a Champions League berth, with Juan Antonio Pizzi’s side some 12 points off fourth spot, and Hernandez may well receive better offers in the summer and will hope that Moyes will allow him to move on to secure some much needed regular first team action.
