Billionaire owner Roman Abramovich is ready to fork out £32m for Ibrahimovic, despite his age, as he feels that the experienced striker is a bankable asset and Mourinho feels that the former Ajax, Barcelona, Juventus and AC Milan man has a two of three seasons still in the tank.
Mourinho is ready to bring in the veteran and will look to offer Lukaku a prominent role next term, having served out two seasons out on loan, first at West Brom and this term at Everton.
Ibrahimovic has spoken previously of his desire to play in the Premier League and may be tempted by a move to Chelsea, who are willing to match his current PSG wage packet.
