No one is accusing Aston Villa striker Christian Benteke of second season syndrome, but it is safe to say the the big Belgian striker hasn’t been as good this term as in his debut campaign.
Recently though, there have been signs Benteke is returning to his best, and a wonder goal against Norwich City at the weekend illustrated just that.
In the absence of Chelsea forward Romelu Lukaku, who has spent the season on loan at Everton, Benteke led the line for Belgium, and a horror miss summed up his night.
