PR stunt or more brilliance from Zlatan? We donb’t really care.
The Swede sent this amazing tweet to PSG teammate Blaise Matuidi after the Frenchman scored a brilliant overhead scissor kick goal for France against the Netherlands last night.
The message has earned over 20k retweets at the time of writing (and is still rising) but some fans are more cynical and have labelled the tweet a PR stunt by the Swede’s sponsors Nike. The hashtag, #DareToZlatan, does suggest the striker’s message wasn’t entirely spontaneous but it’s all good banter…
The great goal was Matuidi’s first for his country and the midfielder clearly enjoyed Zlatan’s message, responding:
