Ball boy punished but issues apology for taunting Real star.
The Atletico Madrid ball-boy who baited Cristiano Ronaldo in the Madrid derby last week has been pulled from first team duty by Atleti, reports Spanish daily Marca.
The boy, known as Ivan, is a self-confessed Atleti fan who has been on the club’s books since he was nine. Ivan tossed the ball away from Ronaldo during the 2-2 La Liga draw at the Vicente Calderon when the hosts were still leading 2-1.

Ivan bragged about his actions on social media but has faced fierce criticism from the Spanish press and was forced to delete his messages and issue an apology.
“I apologise for anything I said about the derby match, because that’s not the Atletico de Madrid ball boy way. Come on Atleti!”
