Jay Rodriguez scored the only goal as Southampton secured a fine away victory in the Premier League at Crystal Palace.
The 24 year-old, who has been called up to two England squads this season, earning his first cap in November against Chile, is the second highest scorer from his country in the Premier League this season.
Only Daniel Sturridge has managed more in the top flight, while Wayne Rooney has the same tally.
