How to Watch Napoli v Roma Live Streaming today:
Roma currently hold the advantage with Rudi Garcia’s side six points clear of Napoli and with a game in hand.
This will be the fourth time that the two teams have met this season with the home team winning on the three previous occasions.
Roma won 2-0 when the two sides met in the league October, before triumphing 3-2 at the same venue in the Coppa Italia semi-final
Napoli got their first success of the season against the Romans in the second leg however running out 3-0 winners to set a cup final clash with Fiorentina in May.
Napoli will head into the game in mixed form after winning just two of their last seven games yet despite their inconsistent displays this season manager Rafa Benitez has insisted that he will not change his approach to games.
“Barcelona have played with the same formation and with the same philosophy for years, why should we change ours?” he told the Corriere dello Sport.
“I do not think it is the right thing to do. Instead what is right is pursuing an idea in view of a final objective.
“Today I have a team that plays well against (Borussia) Dortmund, Arsenal and Roma, but we cannot always do so.
“We know our faults and we are working on them. Fans must have the patience to wait and think bigger.”
A win over Roma would put Napoli on course for second place and Benitez added: “For us, it is very important.
“Second place is possible, but we must be convinced that we are on the right path
“I have heard that next year we should be fighting for the Scudetto (the title), not that the team should be stronger.
“We must be less unbalanced and find equilibrium. Sometimes we succeed and are also good, but there are individual mistakes.”
Napoli will have Gonzalo Higuain and Raul Albiol back in the squad after suspension while Roma will be without their talisman Francesco Totti.
While the focus will be on matters on the field, one eye will also be cast in the direction of the stands after Roma were punished for discriminatory chants towards Naples earlier this season.
