Chelsea keeper Thibaut Courtois has reportedly agreed a deal to move to Real Madrid when his current contract expires in 2016 according to Cadena SER.

The young Belgian international has spent three seasons on loan at Atletico Madrid and is yet to play a single senior fixture for Chelsea.

This source claims that the 21 year old will return to Stamford Bridge at the end of the current campaign and will see out the two remaining seasons of his Blues deal before moving to the Bernabeu.

Chelsea will not be happy about the prospect of then losing the hot prospect on a free transfer deal so may indeed opt instead to cash-in on Courtois before that point.

Jose Mourinho still sees Czech Republic custodian Petr Cech as his number one starter and as such can afford to sell Courtois, who has been mighty impressive during his spell at the Vicente Calderon.

Courtois helped Diego Simeone’s side to Europa League and Copa del Rey triumphs in his first two campaigns in the Spanish capital and Atletico Madrid are currently mounting a genuine La Liga title push this season.
