Sources in Spain have claimed that manager David Moyes is keen to strike a deal of his own and get the jump on both Arsenal and Juventus, who are both still said to be heavily interested in his services.

Spanish journalist Guillem Balague revealed in February that Morata had been given the greenlight to leave the club in 2014, though no fee had been set. However, thanks to the interest of several major clubs from across Europe that fee is not thought to be small by any means.

Real are said to be keen on keeping hold of the 21-year-old, but with his contract due to expire in 2015 they are left with little choice but to sound out the best possible offer for him. This season 12 of the striker’s 13 appearances have come from the bench, and he is said to be frustrated at the lack of first team opportunities available to him at the Bernabeu.
