West Ham will look to bring in Man United midfielder Nick Powell on a season long loan spell next season according to Football Direct News.

The 19 year old is currently on loan at Wigan Athletic, where he has been hugely impressive, but could benefit from a stint in the top tier where he could continue his footballing education.

One imagines the teenager is still a way from being considered an Old Trafford regular so David Moyes may well be open to a move send Powell to Upton Park.

Powell has scored 12 goals in all competitions for the Latics, making 30 appearances in all competitions, and has already been capped by the England Under 21 international side.

Moyes may see Powell as a player who can ably link midfield and attack, in the mould of Paul Scholes, but is perhaps a little short of top tier experience.
