The north London club have recently sent scouts over to the Amsterdam Arena to watch the Netherlands international in action first hand with a view to signing Blind this summer.
And by all accounts, Tottenham have been hugely impressed with what they have seen of the 24-year-old, who is the son of the former Ajax and Netherlands captain Danny Blind.
The holding midfielder, who is also versatile enough to operate as a left back too, only recently put pen to paper on a three-year contract extension that now ties Blind to the Eredivisie champions until June 2016.
However, with under-pressure Spurs head coach having revealed that he has already held discussions with club chairman Daniel Levy regarding what transfer targets the north Londoners would be going after when the summer transfer window opens again for business on July 1, the Oranje starlet could soon be about to swap the Dutch for the English capital.
