Inter Milan are readying a summer bid for Liverpool defender Daniel Agger according to Football Direct News.
29 year old Danish international Agger has had a frustrating season thus far with injury and form restricting the no nonsense defender to just 11 Premier League starts, with Martin Skrtel, Kolo Toure and Mamadou Sakho all enjoying more playing time.
Agger may therefore be tempted by a fresh challenge and could be seen as a viable centre back partner for San Siro addition Nemanja Vidic, with the Serbian having already agreed to join the Serie A side in the summer.
Anfield boss Brendan Rodgers may be loathed to lose Agger and if Liverpool secure a top four finish then the long serving player will surely be keen to fight for his place in the club’s starting set-up.
