It appears speculation linking Arsenal striker Olivier Giroud with a Gunners exit is hotting up with the Daily Mirror claiming that the forward’s wife has demanded the 27 year old secures a move back to his native France.

Off field issues relating to Giroud’s alleged infidelity has led Giroud’s wife to telling the Arsenal star to push for a move away from England as a condition of her taking her husband back.

A source is quoted as saying;

“She’s agreed to take him back, but only on the condition they leave London and England.

“He’s desperate to save the marriage because he knows how stupid he’s been – so he is going along with what she wants.”

Giroud was spotted on Thursday night meeting with ‘super agent’ Muzzi Ozcan further fueling talk of a possible exit.

Giroud netted 17 goals in all competitions in his first season at the North London club and has racked up 18 goals and eight assists this season and no Arsenal outfield player has seen more Premier League action than the powerful forward.

Olivier Giroud has little in the way of support this term with Nicklas Bendtner only being used in an emergency and Lukas Podolski and Theo Walcott both spending large portions of the season out injured.
