Man United will reportedly look to lure Barcelona full-back Dani Alves to Old Trafford this summer according to the Daily Mail.

With neither Chris Smalling nor Rafael particularly impressing in the right-back berth one can see why David Moyes would be looking for a new option to fill the role and Brazilian Alves is arguably one of the best in the business.

The 30 year old right-back has apparently fallen out with his team-mates and could be set to leave the La Liga giants, with Moyes said to be keen on the former Sevilla man.

Alves has been vocal in his criticism of the Barcelona faithful and his team-mates didn’t appreciate the manner of his goal celebration against Man City in midweek, during which he gestured to the crowd demanding they made more noise.

Alves has been a regular since his move to Barcelona back in the summer of 2008, making 285 appearances for the Catalan club, helping them to a myriad of triumphs including four La Liga titles and two Champions League winners medals.
