The in-demand Spain international has been attracting the attentions of a number of continental heavyweights for over a year now on the back of some impressive displays in the centre of the park for Diego Simeone’s high-flying La Liga outfit.

And as a result of those eye-catching displays, the Red Devils have scouted the 22-year-old on numerous occasions so far in this campaign with new head coach David Moyes understood to be keen to move for the Spaniard this summer.

However, the Scot may now have to change those plans after Koke’s most recent comments on his future at Atleti.

“I have a long contract and I am not thinking about leaving,” Koke told Minuto 116.

“Atletico is my home. I am happy that Simeone has confidence in me and I want to keep working for him for many years.”
