Liverpool and Real Madrid are reportedly ready to go head-to-head for the signature of PSV Eindhoven youngster Zakaria Bakkali this summer, according to Inside Futbol.

The 18-year-old has caught the football world’s attention this season, and even picked up his first cap for the Belgian national side earlier this year. However, he will enter the final year of his contract at the Philips Stadion and the club have yet to be able to enter negotiations about a possible extension.
But the Eredivise giants will have to act fast if they hope to secure him to a new deal as the list of potential suitors to steal him away include both Liverpool and Real Madrid.
PSV had been hopeful that Bakkali would put pen-to-paper on a professional contract upon his 18th birthday in January, but so far that has failed to happen.
And there are fears that the doubts surrounding his future are affecting his game as he has clocked up only 12 minutes of action since the turn of the year.
Bakkali remains the youngster player to score a hat-trick in the Eredivisie, having struck at the age of 17 years and 196 days.
