Emirates Stadium side target young attacker.

Check in to Chelsea vs Arsenal

Arsenal are the latest side to take a keen interest in AS Roma playmaker Adem Ljajic according to Football Direct News.

Arsene Wenger may well see the 22 year old Serbian as an alternative to German wonderkid Julian Draxler, who came close to moving to the Emirates Stadium in January.

Adaptable attacker Ljajic has been by no means a regular since moving to the Stadio Olimpico last summer, having been signed by Rudi Garcia to replace Tottenham bound Erik Lamela.

When called upon though the former Fiorentina man has made an impact, scoring five and providing three assists in Serie A action alone, despite starting just a dozen fixtures.

Wenger apparently sees Ljajic as a potential wide attacking option in lieu of the injury concerns over both Theo Walcott and Lukas Podolski.

Ljajic has been thought of in the past as one of the hottest prospects in European football though the youngster has arguably failed to deliver on his very obvious potential.
