Man United Line-Up Shock Move for Atletico Madrid Pair: Manager and Goal Machine On Old Trafford Radar

Old Trafford plan double Vicente Calderon raid.

Man United are reportedly ready to launch a stellar summer move to bring in manager Diego Simeone and striker Diego Costa according to Football Direct News.

With Old Trafford boss David Moyes under growing pressure after a disastrous debut campaign as Man United boss it is perhaps unsurprising that Argentine Simeone is being tipped to take over at the Premier League club.

The 43 year old has proven an astonishing success since taking over at the Vicente Calderon in December 2011, helping Atletico to a Europa League success in his first season in charge followed by a Copa del Rey triumph in his second season in charge.

This season his Atletico side is mounting a genuine La Liga title challenge and has eased into the quarter-finals of the Champions League.

25 year old Brazilian born Spanish international Diego Costa has been in superb form this term, scoring 22 goals in La Liga action alone, and could perhaps be seen as a replacement for Robin Van Persie with the Dutchman said to be unsettled at Man United since Moyes took over from Sir Alex Ferguson.

A move for the duo would be an ideal option should Man United feel that Moyes isn’t the right man to lead the club.
