Goodison Park boss plans Liberty Stadium raid.

Check in to Everton vs Swansea City

Everton are to make a summer move for Swansea City striker Wilfried Bony according to Football Direct News.

Former Liberty Stadium boss Roberto Martinez will be keen to bring in attacking reinforcements when the current campaign comes to an end, not least as loaned in trio Romelu Lukaku, Lacina Traore and Gerard Deulofeu may well not be deemed as viable permanent additions to the Toffees squad.

Bony has impressed this term despite his sides struggles, netting 20 goals in all competitions, including nine in 18 starts in the Premier League.

Swansea City sit just four points above the drop zone and the Ivory Coast international may be open to a fresh challenge given that the manager who signed him, Micheal Laudrup, has left the Welsh outfit.

Martinez may well not be able to afford the big sum needed to sign Chelsea ace Romelu Lukaku and could instead turn to Bony, though one imagines Swansea City would demand a fee in excess of the club record £12m fee they paid last summer.
