Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger travels to Stamford Bridge for his 1,000th game in charge of the club, and will be looking for a win to close the gap on the west London side above them.
Chelsea slipped up against Aston Villa last Saturday and will be without midfielder Ramires and Willain, who were both given their marching orders at Villa Park. Frank Lampard, Andre Schurrle and Jon-Obi Mikel are all set to come in in their place, though.
Arsenal have a number of injury concerns to contend with as Aaron Ramsey and Mesut Ozil are sidelined, meaning the creativity solely rests with Santi Cazorla.
Striker Olivier Giroud’s form is also giving Wenger a cause for concern, but he will still be preferred to Nickals Bendtner up front.
